German Program

Ben received his BA in German and Global Studies from Wayne State University and studied abroad in Munich for his junior year. He has had internships as a research assistant at both the Deutsches Museum in Munich and the Detroit Institute of Arts, and focused on German and European history and colonialism during his time at Wayne State. His research interests include the rise of nationalism and populism, theories of translation and localization, and (post)colonialism and global history.
